The Foods We Would've Eaten On Our Dream Interrail Trip
Like for most people born in 2002, this was going to be our best, most fun summer ever! The summer before most of us are either going to university or getting our first proper job has to be the most exciting ever. My best friend and I had planned the most amazing Interrail trip throughout Europe. We were going to go on a 3-week trip starting in Germany and going through cities like Budapest, Zagreb, Florence, Marseille… Sadly we have decided to cancel our trip, due to the situation we are currently living in, and especially because we were planning on visiting many different cities. We feel like it wouldn’t be responsible or safe to do this trip, so we have decided that, if possible, we will just be going on a weekend/ short trip to a single country towards the end of August, after my 18th birthday.
This blog post is going to be about the foods we were expecting to eat at every city we were going to visit. It is going to be in order of the cities we were going to travel to. I’m going to include both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, as my friend is not a vegetarian. Some of these pictures I have taken throughout the years and some will be straight from Google.

Two soft cookies, filled with custard. They are brushed with pink syrup and covered with sugar, to look like peaches, ‘pesche’ means peaches in Italian.
MOZZARELLA DI BUFALA
I mean…
RATATOUILLE

The iconic dish from a very iconic movie… we had to.
CREMA CATALANA

This dish is the perfect dessert, especially on a chilly summer night.
Well, that is all of the food that we were looking forward to eating on our crazy summer travels. We hope to be going on a short trip at the end of this summer, so hopefully it will be documented on this blog.
Lots of love,
Lucia x
